Socrates (470-399 B.C.) was a famous Greek philosopher from Athens who taught Plato, and Plato taught Aristotle, and Aristotle taught Alexander the Great. Socrates used a simple but cleverly profound method of teaching by asking penetrating, revelatory, and psychologically probing questions. The Greeks called this form, Dialectic – starting from a thesis or question, then discussing ideas and moving back and forth between points-of-view to determine how well ideas stand up to critical review with the ultimate principle of the dialogue being Veritas – Truth.
John Lennon, lead singer of the iconic rock group, The Beatles, is a famous liar. This piped piper of Hell foretells the revelation of why many people having had an after-death experience relates seeing him in perdition singing, playing his guitar perpetually while being tortured relentlessly by demons in the flames every time his music his played or his songs are sung by anyone on earth.

Prologue to Gnosticism—The Cult of all Cults
Socrates: We must understand that the world we live in is controlled by Satan, including all: media, education, the Academy, institutions, organizations, courts, economic systems, politics, secret societies (Mystery religions and cults), Wall Street, Q-Street, business, medicine, and governments of men. The Apostle Paul made this clear in 2 Corinthians 4:4: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Satan is not original. He is not a creator like God and Jesus. He is an imitator. He only perverts and destroys what is godly and good to deceive the naïve and to eternally enslave lost souls. For example, God’s number of perfection = 7; the number of the Antichrist which shall rule over all mankind in the Last Days = 666, according to Revelation 13:18.
Gnosticism is a very ancient perversion of religion, philosophy, and truth known by other false philosophies of Men by —Paganism, Sophism (I, Socrates battled the ‘Sophists’ of my day like Aristophanes and the Greek Senate who murdered me on trumped up charges of ‘corrupting the youth’), Humanism, Jacobinism, Communism, Socialism, Bolshevism, Liberalism, etc… Other false gods and cults based on these false philosophies of Men include—Tammuz, Baal, Molech (Moloch), Mary Marguerla, Ashtoreth, Gaia, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Athena, Zeus, Olympia, Thor, Nike, and many other names of false gods from antiquity.
According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, Gnosticism is defined as—”a dualistic religion that offered salvation through special knowledge (gnosis) of spiritual truth.” Concerning Gnosticism, it further states that—

Historically speaking, Gnosticism is the cult of all cults for it provides Satan’s counterfeit thinking or Weltanschauung (worldview) as a substitute for truth of the Word of God by placing man’s thoughts above God’s will and over God’s Kingdom.

Forbidden Discussions?—The Erick Erickson Show (30 Aug. 2018)
Caller Bob {from Norcross, Georgia}: You made a point earlier that keeping those [Confederate] statutes and monuments up allows us to not forget, and while I agree with that point…we also erect statutes and monuments specifically to celebrate things. And I think we can agree that this is not something we should celebrate. So, I would vote to remove those statutes and monuments for that reason.
Erick Erickson: I take your point and thank you for making it as clearly and concise as you have… I also wonder if we were to tear down the Confederate monuments, are we then suggesting to malcontented souls that we have something to hide and that we are going to revise their history? … I am more and more troubled by an idea that is particularly coming out of Progressivism these days that there are some things we cannot talk about. And I really think that is emboldening the White Nationalists and the Alt-Right crowd…on issues of race and other things because there is always a perceptible bit of society that believes the truth is being kept from them.
And so, they see the monuments being torn down and they say, ‘Ah, its all these Progressives tearing down monuments; they really must have been a good thing’ – Then we’ll get all kinds of social justice revisionism…I do worry really a lot about this idea that by taking stuff off the table we’re going to generate an even more embolden group of nuts.
The Confederacy vs. Nazism
Caller Bob: And I’m very sensitive to that if I could just add one more point. I would agree with you 99.9%…if you could use the same logic to Nazism.
Erick Erickson: Yes, that is a very fair point…Most Black people would equate it [the Confederacy] to Nazism than White people. There is this divide, this consensus among common people that Nazism is bad, and there is consensus everywhere that the Confederacy is bad except in a certain group of people who march in the streets these days. But there doesn’t seem to be the same consensus that honoring our forebearers is the akin to celebrating the Confederacy. There is that disconnect that rubs people raw, which is why we see this polling that shows that 90% of the country that are either Democrat or Republican believes that the Confederacy shouldn’t be celebrated, but 60% of Democrats and 80% of Republicans say we shouldn’t tear down the statutes. There is somewhat of a disconnect there. It is such a more complicated issue than a lot of people wanted it to be…
Erick Erickson: I hope you guys understand what I’m getting at? It really is a cut-and-dried sort of issue – ‘Confederacy-BAD, therefore tear down all the statutes.’ But there are a lot of people who say, ‘Confederacy-BAD, but this was my Great-Great Grandfather and I still want to honor him, even if he was on the wrong side [of history].’ In that regard it was different from I think the German consensus on Nazism, that yes ‘Confederacy-BAD, Nazism-BAD, but Nazism is universally reviled, therefore everyone who participated-BAD’. In this country we never crossed the Rubicon so to speak on that where everyone who participated was somehow bad. It [the Confederacy] was so much apart of our heritage and generational legacy-building that it never quite evolved the same way for a lot of people (mostly White obviously). This is one reason why I say leave the monuments, but I think we also need to build the monuments to the heroes who transcended the Confederacy—the Martin Luther Kings and the others…
Gnosticism in Modern Times
Erick Erickson: If you refuse to have conversations on this subject you are essentially excluding a realm of conversations. And in excluding a realm of conversations there are always going to be malcontented souls—on the Left and the Right—who believe you are keeping some sort of hidden knowledge from them. You know the idea of Gnosticism? You get the idea of Gnosticism in a lot of the early churches – Saint John is writing about it in his books of the Bible—in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John, and even the [Gospel] of John [and Revelation] responding to the Gnostics who actually believed there was some hidden knowledge.
And if you came into their [Gnostic] cult they would give you the hidden knowledge where thereby you could find salvation. And [Saint John’s] point was, ‘No! Christ wasn’t hidden. Christ was open to all, and all you have to do is believe in Christ and that’s your pathway to salvation.’ The Gnostics said, No, no, no its more complicated than that.
Erick Erickson: And they were able to draw people to them. And historically all Gnostic cults have done it this way. They have suggested that society is keeping something hidden from you, and if you will join this group you will have access to the knowledge that society is having. In fact, pyramid schemes are the same way when it comes to—‘Join my pyramid scheme and you will make a lot of money selling people something, and then those people are going to be selling those people something, and you’re going to be making money the whole way through. You’ll have knowledge and access to a product that no one else does. That’s how you are going to get rich’. It’s the same way with Gnosticism.
And I really think this drive to tear down the monuments, and this drive to end the conversation [about racism in America] concurrently on both sides emboldens a group of people to say, ‘Hey, I’ve got the hidden knowledge the media isn’t telling you about. I’ve got the hidden knowledge the Republicans isn’t telling you about. I’ve got the hidden knowledge the Democrats aren’t telling you about. And inevitably it is some fringe, malcontented group – whether its White Nationalists or Antifa on the other side and the like – they want the malcontented souls to come in and believe that they have access to a ‘truth’ that is not publicly available and we embolden them by taking out of society the [Confederacy] monuments and the conversations and the truth and the facts, and then they twist it—and that’s bad for all of us.
Gnosticism and Jesus
Socrates: Indeed, let us hear the conclusion of the matter. Gnosticism is a very ancient cult that existed during my times—four centuries before Jesus Christ, but whose origins in the secret societies of the Mystery religions proceed perhaps to the earliest times of the Sumerians, the Babylonians, the Egyptians – even all the way back to Adam and Eve and the beginning of humanity. For example, the Cult of Gnosticism is encapsulated in the words of that vile serpent, Satan who said to our forefathers in the Garden of Eden — “Yea, hath God said?”
That simple, subtle, 4-word question planted the poisonous seed of doubt against the expressed Word of God which caused our forefathers to fall into sin, to fall into death, and to ultimately forfeit their power, control, and ownership over planet earth which God had given to them in the Book of Genesis chapter 1—including the kingdom of sky above, the kingdom of the earth below, the kingdom under the earth, and the marine kingdom, including all of the creatures on those four existential realms. Adam and Eve (and by their inter-generational sin, all humanity) sinned against God, and thus we willingly and legally ceded our God-given inheritance over planet earth to Satan and to his demonic kingdom—Genesis 3.
That’s why we read in the book in the book of Matthew 4:1-11 when Jesus went to the wilderness to fast 40 days and 40 nights that at the zenith of his physical affliction Satan came to Jesus to tempt him and “showed Him all the kingdoms of this world and their glory in an instant. Then Satan said:
Jesus: “Begone, Satan! For it is written, ‘YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.’” (Matthew 4:10). *N.B.: This scripture is the antithetical biblical narrative to when Adam and Eve betrayed God, betrayed themselves, and betrayed all of humanity by selling their souls to Satan for a piece of fruit for ‘Gnosis’ in the Garden of Eden 4,000 years earlier—Genesis 3:6-7—the ultimate Faustian bargain with the Devil through the Ages was reversed by the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
Gnosticism and the ‘failed’ New York Times
Socrates: Remember the first principles of philosophy I taught to my disciples 2,500 years ago—“I can’t teach anything to anybody. I can only make them think.” Therefore, THINK! How could Satan offer Jesus Christ all the kingdoms of this world in Matthew 4:8-9, and Jesus not rebuke Satan’s premise of offering this world to him, since He [Christ] created the whole world? According John 1:3 (“All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.”) Answer: Because Satan was offering to Jesus what our ancestors (Adam and Eve) gave to Satan willingly and legally in the Garden of Eden when they sinned against God by eating the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.
Epilogue
Socrates: Let us hear the conclusion of this matter. All humanity bears witness to the Cult of Gnosticism like the evil serpent of Genesis 1 slithering in and out of the hearts and souls of mankind down, down through the Ages for 6,000 years to modern times and coming to its pathetic apotheosis with the failed New York Times newspaper printing a vile piece of hateful propaganda against President Trump by a so-called member of his own administration—a SABATEUR who ironically spends much of his Manifesto lauding the great accomplishments of President Trump in just 18 months. Yet, this cowardly, anonymous traitor credits not Trump for accomplishing these magnificent feats on behalf of God, We the People, and America—policy accomplishments that no other president in U.S. history has ever even conceived of doing, let alone achieved in 8 years not in 18 months. But credits himself (or herself) and presumably many other surreptitious Apparatchiks hiding like cowards deep inside the bowels of the Leviathan D.C. beast you call the federal government.
Socrates: Yes, indeed Satan is alive and well on planet earth in 2018, and his Trinity of Whores— the Cult of the Confederacy, the Cult of Nazism, but most notably the Cult of Gnosticism (which is Liberal Fascism) is alive and well in America and throughout the world in 2018. Nevertheless, the Globalist Gestapo’s power and authority to deceive the masses is coming to a deserved and expected end as more and more people are becoming ‘WOKE’ to Veritas. WOKE to God. WOKE to the sacrificial offering God made “before the foundation of the world” by allowing his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ—who knew no sin—to be sacrificed on a cross for the redemption of the sins of the world.
Socratic dialectical question for the Ages: What will you do, Oh, Man? What will you do, Oh, Woman? Will you continue bow down to the cult of Socialism Slavery, bow down to the Globalist Gestapo (which is the New World Order), or will you be free in Christ Jesus, or as I stated 2,500 years ago—Be as you wish to seem.
