About the Author—Professor Ellis Washington, J.D.—I went to Harvard Law School with future POTUS Barack Hussein Obama for 1 year (1988-89), but I took the opposite path in Life—New World Order, Communism, Treason, Pedophilia & Satanic Ritual Abuse vs. Christianity, Conservatism, Protecting the Children & TRUMPism. I repeatedly refused to take the “Satan OATH” which is why I’ve been blacklisted for 30+ yearsfor my entire legal and academic career, yet I Fight on! Prologue and Ascension of a Young Critical Thinker

To My Dear Cousin Maria L. Price:

This short essay (which I am addressing to Maria to distribute to the Price family), is conceived as a biographical narrative recounting some of my memories regarding my dearly departed cousin – Dr. Edwin “Little Curmie” Price Jr. (1940-2021), but also pays tribute as a Eulogy to other important family members who passed away which will be evident at the end of this narrative. Special gratitude to the person (or persons) who wrote Cousin Curmie’s obituary. You did an outstanding job filling in his complete biographical narrative which helped me learn more about Curmie’s resplendent background so I could write this essay with accurate information. For example, after reading this informative obituary you explained how his family moved from West Helena, Arkansas, to Flint, Michigan, before eventually settling in Cleveland, Ohio. I originally didn’t know Curmie was born in West Helena, Arkansas and lived there for the first 10 years of his life! I thought he was born in Ohio; nor did I realize that he also lived in Flint, Michigan for a short time.

My earliest memories of whom our family affectionately called “Little Curmie” go back over 50 years. (Likewise, I was called “Little Ellis” by the Washington side of my family because I was named after my grandfather). I remember my mother (Joan Folson, née Cowser [1934-2014], 4th child of Martha Ann Price) telling me how she babysat the 6 Price boys (Curmie, Francis, Allen Dale, etc. and I believe some of Uncle Sam’s children also) up until the time when she (at age 15! and big sister Mattie) graduated together from high school in 1950. They immediately moved from West Helena, Arkansas to Cleveland, Ohio where she lived, studied music (opera) at college before permanently moving to Detroit, Michigan the following year in 1951.

20 years later (1 January 1970) Cousin Curmie would publish his first book (a collection of original poetry titled – The State of the Union. I believe that this was the first book written by anyone in our family! 💯🥳

Although I was too young to realize it then but now understand that this literary milestone by Cousin Curmie would not only be an epiphany experience for me as a child of 8 years old, but would go on to positively affect and change my life forever.

Epiphany Narrative—How Professor Curmie Price’s Love of Learning Affected the entire Family

Once again exceeding gratitude to the author(s) of the excellently written obituary for Cousin Curmie. Many of the stories I was told about my Grandmother Martha Ann’s side of the family (the Price family) is now in bold relief which I will briefly narrate here. First of all, my mother Joan Cowser always had strong philosophical and academic inclinations. She got double promoted from 1st to 3rd grade.  (Coincidentally I was offered this promotion at the same grade, but for some reason my mother declined).

Secondly, beginning in 1964 when I was age 3, my mother systematically taught us the importance of wisdom and knowledge found in books and reading by taking me, my brother (Mario), and sister (Sonya [now Sanaa NiaJoy]) to the public library virtually every Saturday morning during the summer months for about 7 years until I was old enough to take my brother and sister by myself while she was studying and researching for college. I mentioned those memorable summers spending the day at the Madame C.J. Walker Library branch on Mack Ave. & Montclair on Detroit’s eastside where at age 5 I literally learned to read during the social chaos of the infamous Detroit Riots of 1967 which was earlier chronicled in an essay I wrote in 2013.

WHAT DO I REMEMBER ABOUT COUSIN CURMIE?

  • I Remember we literally had hundreds and hundreds of books all over our house, on a variety of subjects including Little Curmie’s first published book which for decades had a prominent place in our home right next to the big family Bible we kept on a ledge in our living room.
  • I Remember the Year 1970 – that was the year my family received Cousin Curmie’s first published book – The State of the Union – when I was as a little boy of 8 years old.
  • I Remember struggling to read and understand Cousin Curmie’s poetical opus.
  • I Remember always asking my mother to explain Cousin Curmie’s complex poetry to me, filled with Sound, Meaning, Rhythm, Form – including Similes, Metaphors, Rhetoric, Allusion and Alliteration, Paradox and Personification, and other sophisticated literary devices and techniques.
  • I Remember looking at Cousin Curmie’s picture on the back cover and being filled with Pride and Joy that one day I could write a book like my big cousin did.
  • I Remember Cousin Curmie visiting us in Detroit through the years and how happy Curmie’s intellectual ascension made my mother feel. (As a child my mother was generally a rather severe and mercurial person).
  • I Remember my mother’s devotion to Cousin Curmie (who was only 6 years younger than she) and her life-long devotion to instill Curmie’s worldview into her 3 children – his love of Life, Learning and Ideas. (I later learned that the German’s called this comprehensive, cognitive worldview – Weltanschauung).
  • I Remember my mother using her young Cousin Curmie as her intellectual guide to restart her own college aspirations which due to marriages, divorces, working 2-3 jobs, while attending college part-time which took her 30 years. . . but she eventually graduated in 1981! She then promptly got her Master’s degree in Business Management once again using Cousin Curmie as her guide, her teacher. . . her Muse.

Likewise following Cousin Curmie’s example, I eventually published 11 books and edited over 30 books by my intellectual mentor the Black Classical Musicologist – Professor Arthur R. LaBrew [1930-2015] (scroll down to read excerpts from his magisterial Encyclopedic Dictionary of Black Classical Music & Musicians (1750 BC. – 1950) and several other writings published when he was awarded a Kresge Artist Fellowship in the Literary Arts in 2013. On my website you can listen to a short very interesting biopic about this magisterial and iconic but forgotten Historian created and produced by one of his students and my friend, D’Andrea Lee.

Later in life (late 1990s) I went to Cousin Curmie to help me get my early book manuscripts published and to get his advice about how I could become a Professor like him. Cousin Curmie was always supportive and positive and did whatever he could to help and encourage everyone he met, including his younger cousin. Even so, after decades of hitting my head against a brick wall, I tragically learned that President Trump was right! –That everything in society is rigged. That as a Black Man, as a Black Conservative intellectual it was practically impossible to get a Professor job in the Marxist-Atheist Academy (which I now understand is completely controlled by the Rothschild Khazarian Mafia). Nevertheless, though sheer will power (and focused anger) I eventually became a Professor and taught dozens of various classes in Law, History, Politics, Government, Philosophy, English Composition, Literature, and Music. I chronicled those experiences in my 2016 essay, Nigger Manifesto and more fully in my 2017 book – Nigger Manifesto: Institutional, Intellectual and Ideological Racism Inside the American Academy

MY VOW TO PROFESSOR CURMIE & TO THE PRICE FAMILY – Since I considered Cousin Curmie to be one of my earliest intellectual mentors and in devotion to keeping his memory alive, from this point forward I will dedicate my critical thinking blog – EllisWashingtonReport.com (which presently has almost 20 million views nationally and internationally) – to Professor Edwin Curmie Price Jr. Why? Because Cousin Curmie taught me to Think BIG, to Think Critically, and to accept all ideas – even those ideas you don’t fully realize, understand, or appreciate.

Pin on Quotes

Why? Because Cousin Curmie taught us that no one knows everything. And as intelligent, sentient beings every day we should all struggle and strive to travel down the road toward Knowledge and Veritas (Truth) – a challenging road filled with twists, turns and hidden perils; a grueling road which takes much time, even a lifetime of struggle and striving to achieve and to traverse. Cousin Curmie had a lot of Knowledge and Wisdom, Patience and Love. I will miss my Cousin Professor Curmie very much for you were a resplendent example of academic excellence, assiduous work ethic and transcendent inspiration for us all!

*N.B.: Suggested Music – Requiem Mass by W.A. Mozart {written in 1791}

Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine:et lux perpetua luceat eis.Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

Eulogy for Uncle Allen Cowser and Cousin Allen Dale Price

In conclusion, I thought it prudent to add this short Eulogy at the end of my Memorial Essay for Little Curmie which I am dedicating to two other family members—My mother’s eldest brother (and my favorite) Uncle ALLEN COWSER (1930-1996[?]) who loved Curmie’s academic gifts and personally sacrificed his own academic career to work at a cleaners (at age 12!)

If you asked me to define Uncle Allen’s legacy to our family in one word that word would be SACRIFICE—Uncle Allen sacrificed his carefree childhood, sacrificed his college education, sacrificed his academic career, sacrificed his future, sacrificed his personal happiness for decades helping his now single mother Martha Ann Price raise his own 6 little brothers and sisters including my mother! Uncle Allen didn’t stop there, but scarified his entire LIFE to help all his extended family members including Little Curmie to nurture, foster and develop those precious gifts he was blessed with from Curmie’s time as a young child living in West Helena, Arkansas in the early 1940s (during World War II: 1939-45), to the subsequent decades when they both lived in Cleveland, Ohio from the 1950s, until the time of Uncle Allen’s death in 1996 (just 3 months before I could present my first born son and his namesake, Stone Allen, to him). The link to Uncle Allen Cowser above references some articles and books which I wrote that mentions the exceedingly high esteem that I and the entire Family had for this Magisterial Man.

As I stated before, it would be in his Honour that I named my son (Stone Allen Washington) after Uncle Allen, as did many other family members who likewise were named after this magnificent member of the family, including ALLEN DALE PRICE (1951-2018) [#5 of the 6 Price brothers] whom I remember fondly as a child seeing, playing games and talking with at family reunions through the years. Allen Dale had such a tender Spirit and a pure and loving Heart.

I Remember Allen Dale coming up to me at my mother’s internment (she died on Passover Sunday and the funeral was the day after Resurrection Day – Monday, April 21, 2014). I Remember Allen Dale coming over to my car and offering some very moving words of condolences to me and my family before the Lord took him home to be with Him just 4 years later on Aug. 27, 2018 (age 67). I wish that I could remember exactly what he said, nevertheless, I hope that this Memorial Essay for Little Curmie, as well as for Uncle Allen Cowser, Allen Dale Price and my mother, Joan Cowser will keep their collective memories in our hearts through the Ages. . .

Dear Reader: If this essay approached being an epiphany experience for you as Professor Curmie’s life was for me as a little boy of 8-years-old, then read on. If you want to learn and know REALITY (as Morpheus offered Neo in the 1999 movie The Matrix) – when he said to Neo: “. . . I’ll show you how deep the rabbit hole goes,” then please click here and here to receive the Real truth about the Covid-19 “Pandemic”. HINT! Covid-19 in reality is not a vaccine at all, but a Deep State, DNA-altering, Democide system designed decades ago by The Rockefeller Institute, The Bill Gates Foundation, Harvard University (and many other Deep State entities) to depopulate the earth.

Finally, on a good note, to become aware of the Biblical Jubilee that thanks to President Donald J. Trump will soon be distributed to hundreds of millions of people in America (= NESARA) and to billions of people throughout the world (= GESARA), see the link above and the meme below.
