Prologue to Institutional Discrimination and Ideological Racism

Dear Professor James C. Phillips:

I read with great interest your Abstract below on “Ideological Discrimination” which is a subject I have written about and been victimized by for many years. Here is my recently published academic memoir about my existential battles against Ideological Discrimination and Institutional Racism inside the American Academy over the past years 35 years— invidious academic racism that continues unabated to this day.

When I get the money, after starting my new faculty position, I will purchase and read your complete article and give you my opinion. Nevertheless, being blacklisted by Ideological Racism has devastated my life, my academic career, my economy, my manhood, and unjustly punished my family as collateral damage. For example, my current bank account = $32.54. My 16-year-old daughter, Eden has made more than her own father for over a year working part-time at Chick Fil’a. My dear son wants to go to the movies with me tomorrow to watch Mission Impossible Fallout.

Yet I cannot even afford to pay for my own ticket, popcorn, and drink because despite my Ivy League and scholarly credentials, Ideological Racism has been unjustly perpetrated against me for 35 years by the Progressive Academy who in the words of President Trump, always rigged the system for their own ideologues and Apparatchiks to the 95-100% percentile, like Columbia-Harvard Law educated Barack Hussein Obama and his Princeton-Harvard Law educated wife, Michelle Obama.

Professor Phillips, I first learned of your very important work exposing ideological discrimination inside the American Academy in a recent Breitbart article. Although I would expand and augment my initial correspondence to you in this essay which was also copied to about 50 Presidents, Law School Deans and selected scholars cloistered comfortably inside their Ivy League Towers (see list at the end of this essay), yet know this that their silence against me for the past 35 years only emboldens me ever the more to expose, to deconstruct, and to destroy Ideological Racism in all of its myriad of surreptitious iterations. Since the advent of Darwinian evolutionary atheism of the 1860’s, while We the People slept, Liberals, Progressives, Communists, Socialists, Humanists, Atheists like squatters have taken over the American Academy and exerted hegemony inside all U.S. institutions under the Democrat Socialist Party and their internationalist Apparatchik allies I call “Gestapo Globalists” with Nazi-like efficiency for more than 160 years.

•  I’m a 35-year blacklisted Black historian and law academic who attended Harvard with Barack Obama and my mentor was Justice Clarence Thomas for 30 years. Question #1: Since the early 1960s, with the political Left and the Democrat Socialist Party dominating all U.S. institutions including the Academy, do you think anything short of a total revolution will make them ‘give’ Conservatives, Independents, and Libertarian scholars equal parity inside the Academy with the Liberals, Progressives, Marxists, Socialists, Humanists, Bolsheviks, Communists? In all U.S. institutions? Inside the Marketplace of Ideas? Inside the Arena of Ideas? (*See Frederick Douglass quote below for my answer to this question).

I view the current Tech Tyrants’ (Twitter https://www.infowars.com/alex-jones-suspended-from-twitter-after-tweet-calling-to-end-censorship/, Google, Apple, Spotify, Disqus, YouTube, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) are on the war path and have increased their fascist attacks against conservative free speech which is both ideological and political (e.g., anti-Conservative, anti-Libertarian), but also Creed discrimination based on religion (e.g., anti-Christianity, anti-Semitism, anti-Judaism). For example the de-platforming of Pro-Trump Nationalist and Libertarian media host, Alex Jones is the test case by the Democrat Socialist Party Media and Globalist Gestapo characterized as the false flag pretext to ban all conservatives and Christian voices, to ban them from all social media or relegate them into what Matt Drudge called, “Internet ghettos” where all their social media platforms are demonetized and no one (or very few people) will ever hear their messages of Christian truth or Pro-Trump Nationalism and Populism. To demonstrate the dystopian times we are living in under Progressive hegemony of the academy, even college students who follow Alex Jones on social media are being rejected for college admissions! This is Liberal Fascism writ large.

Barack vs. Ellis: A Tale of Two Black Men at Harvard Law School (circa 1988-89)

There was a 1993 movie called, “Six Degrees of Separation” with the premise that you can essentially link yourself to anyone in the world with six degrees of separation (i.e., 6 persons) that will connect you in a personal way to that person. Barack Obama and I are much closer than 6 degrees of separation between us.

There was only one degree of separation between Barack Obama (the 44th President) and I (a 35-year blacklisted Black historian and law academic). For example, I am the same age as Barack Obama. We were born the same year (1961) and birthed exactly 7 weeks (49 days) apart (Aug. 4 – Sept. 22). I went to Harvard with him for 1 year (1988-89) and played intramural basketball against him. I was appointed Staff Editor by testing into the Michigan Law Review without any law classes, without any mentors or anyone to help me two years before Obama’s appointment to the Harvard Law Review. Barack Obama “made it” to Columbia, made it to Harvard Law, made it to become the first Black President of the Harvard Law Review without a single example of law scholarship of any kind, and was even later awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 3 weeks after coming to office, once again for accomplishing nothing. Why? Because the Democrat Socialist elites—Machiavellian Masters and King Makers of the Deep State and Shadow Government who quoting President Trump have always “rigged the system”—e.g., picked Socialist Apparatchiks as soldiers for the Progressive Revolution, Barack Obama from obscurity and made him their  CIA cut out, their George Soros “Manchurian Candidate”. Why? Because Obama was to become their Globalist Progressive weapon to destroy America and to deconstruct all her Judeo-Christian institutions and traditions. Or in Obama’s words of his campaign speech on the eve of his first election Oct. 31, 2008, “… [to] fundamentally transform America.”

On the other hand I, being a doctrinaire conservative since Christmas Day, 1982, received no such solicitude from the Patriarchs of the Progressive Revolution, therefore of necessity my life, my promising academic career, my pursuit of Happiness was aborted in the cradle by the so-called Liberal-Progressive Academy before I ever had a chance to enjoy the ‘American  Dream’ despite my scholarly record of 11 books, 30 scholarly articles, and over 3,000 op-eds and Socratic dialectical essays, published on 5 continents and in 15 academic disciplines, while many of my works are housed in the Chambers Library of the Supreme Court of the United States. Once again, my American Dream as of the 42nd year of my second birth, 8 August 2018 = $32.54.

My son, Stone Washington (a senior History major at Clemson) would after hearing my conversion narrative, immediately demanded that I pull the car over because he wanted to become a Christian NOW. Just like in the book of Acts where the Ethiopian Eunuch asked the Apostle Philip to lead him to salvation in Christ and to baptize him immediately after hearing the teachings about Jesus Christ and repentance. On that faithful day of destiny, we were visiting my mother and Stone’s grandmother Joan, who at that time lived across the street from this Synagogue where I grew up. Stone, at age 10 accepted Christ under the Star of David pictured above on 7 Nov. 2007 (almost 30 years from the date I accepted Christ on the other side of that same Star of David). There is no such thing as “coincidence” with God … but I digress.

How Long will Socialism Slavery and Liberal Racism be allowed to pervert the American Academy and all U.S. Institutions?

Question #2: So which is it, Professor Phillips, does hard work always guarantee success in America, or will your life, your family, and your career be unjustly aborted? Will hundreds of thousands of dollars and decades of student loans spent on education, and your legal career be all in vain based not on your intrinsic merit, but on your conservative ideology which for over 100 years has been systematically weaponized against you by the unseen, dark hand of Liberal Fascism and the Democrat Socialist Party whose legions of Government Apparatchiks controls the levers of power of all U.S. institutions?

In his classic 1964 opus,  Why We Can’t Wait, Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote, “It is obvious that if a man is entered at the starting line of a race three hundred years after another man, the first would have to perform some impossible feat in order to catch up with his fellow runner.”

I apologize for using the graphic abortion metaphor above. It is not my intent to be vulgar but to state with the highest sense of urgency this truism—I only have one life to live, and that life was taken from me and from countless millions of others in all walks of life by Machiavellian Apparatchiks of the Socialist State because the Progressive/Globalist system is fascist, duplicitous, and evil to its core and is rigged against Equality and Efficiency, rigged against Meritocracy, Righteousness and VERITAS.

As the Technocrat Traitors are in collusion with Communist China and their tech slave factories, 18-hour workdays, forced abortion policies, suicide nets, the Technocracy Tyrants have waged total war against We the People by systematically weaponizing their de facto “public utilities” against InfoWars’ Alex Jones, against the outspoken conservative duo, Diamond and Silk, and many others, yet more and more people are becoming ‘woke’ to the fact as Trump repeatedly warned U.S. even to this day that the liberal fascist ‘system is rigged’ against Christians and Conservatives, rigged against Libertarians and against Pro-Trump Nationalists. Epilogue: Dystopia or Veritas?

In conclusion, although I was born in the unforgiving, dystopian ghettos of Detroit almost 60 years ago, in the early 1960s, I’ve scrupulously endeavored to live a righteous life celebrating Americana as a Black academic for 35 years by upholding Harvard’s forgotten motto—Veritas pro Christo et Ecclesia—yet despite my academic accomplishments and prolific oeuvre, I’ve been chosen and cursed to fight this Sisyphus ideological battle for Ideological Equality in the Academy seemingly in vain for 35 years.

Will our Socialist Slave Masters of the Democrat Party ever relent and stop torturing We the People? History repeatedly demonstrates that the Democrat Socialist Party didn’t give justice to Blacks during the slavery era, the Jim Crow era, the Civil Rights Era, and their ideological descendants today are not likely to do justice and righteousness to discriminated against Conservatives, Libertarians, and Christians today. For over 200 years the atheistic Left have been attacking the Judeo-Christian foundations of Natural Law, Natural Rights, and the Original Intent of the constitutional Framers since the Christian genocide and Liberal apotheosis of the French Revolution (1789-99).

For example, New York Times writer and Wunder-Fascist, Thomas Friedman, wrote this incendiary slogan against Trump Nationalists and Conservatives in the Washington Examiner on 9 August, Media should work together to hurt Trump. What isolated bubble does Friedman live in? Trump labelled the media “the enemy of the people”, because they possess a demonic hatred of America and her Judeo–Christian traditions and institutions. The MSM already have been hurting Trump since he first came down that escalator at Trump Towers to announce his candidacy for president on 16 June 2015.

Friedman’s vile words are derivative of the 1960s Leftist radical terrorist group, Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), the forerunner of  the Weather Underground, founded by Socialist radicals, William Ayers and wife, Bernadine Dohrn, in whose Chicago living room Barack Obama launched his political career in 1995.

Abstract

There are comparatively few conservative and libertarian law professors on U.S. law school faculties. Why is this? One possible explanation is discrimination based on political orientation. This paper tests this using a model of discrimination based on the work of Nobel Prize-winning economists Gary Becker and Kenneth Arrow in order to measure the “rank gap”—the difference in the ranking of a hiring law school based on one’s political orientation after controlling for other predictors of that ranking (clerkships, publications, the law school one graduated from, etc.). The paper, using matching statistical methods, finds that upon comparing conservative/libertarian law professors hired from 2001-2010 with equally-credentialed liberal law professors, conservatives/libertarians end up, on average, at a law school ranked 12-13 spots lower (i.e., less prestigious). (See pages 36-37.) This rank gap is not uniform, being more moderate with the top 75 schools, non-existent with schools 76-100, and the largest with the lowest-ranked schools. (See page 40.) The paper finds a similar “rank gap” for law professors whose political orientation was unknown or moderate compared to their liberal peers. Thus, while there may be other mechanisms causing the dearth of conservative/libertarian law professors in the legal academy, those who do make it in the door appear to experience discrimination based on political orientation. The paper also discusses the harms that a lack of conservative/libertarian law professors causes. Namely, legal scholarship suffers from an echo chamber; law students, particularly liberal ones, may not sufficiently learn how to make or counter conservative and libertarian arguments; and law and policy is not as strong as it could be without conservative/libertarian critiques and perspectives.
