Publius: According to the conventional records regarding Albert Pike contained in his general biography which reads as follows—
Albert Pike (December 29, 1809 – April 2, 1891) was an American author, poet, orator, editor, lawyer, jurist and Confederate States Army general who served as an associate justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court in exile from 1864 to 1865. He had previously served as a senior officer of the Confederate States Army, commanding the District of Indian Territory in the Trans-Mississippi Theater. A prominent member of the Freemasons attaining the highest rank of 33rd degree, was a Grand Dragon of the Klu Klux Klan and Pike served as the Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, Scottish Rite (Southern Jurisdiction, USA) from 1859 to 1891. The following is a letter that Albert Pike wrote to Illuminati and Freemason leader, Giuseppe Mazzini in 1871 regarding a conspiracy involving three future world wars, that were planned in an attempt to take over the world. The Pike letter to Giuseppe Mazzini was on display in the British Museum Library in London until 1977. This letter has been claimed by many internet sites to reside in the British Library in London, which now denies the letter exists. Communism will be built and used in order to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken the religions.”
“The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine. During the Second World War, International Communism must become strong enough in order to balance Christendom, which would be then restrained and held in check until the time when we would need it for the final social cataclysm.”
“The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other.

Skeptic & Scoffers: Hidden knowledge prevents its corruption, i.e., as we see here. I have several of Pike’s books, he never made any such claim.
Socrates: Note how Skeptics and Scoffers (like Cody Dobson) realizing their arguments having been already defeated, brings up new false arguments (e.g., red herrings) while ignoring he initial questions addressed to him. Also this Scoffer attributes arguments to Ellis that were not made—e.g., that the Pike-Mazzini letter was in Pike’s books. To make the generalization that, “Hidden knowledge prevents its corruption” sounds like a rote tenant of Freemasonry which utilizes circular argumentation, but is easily disproven that just because knowledge is hidden doesn’t ipso facto make it true.
Putting the Pike-Mazzini letter aside which Skeptics and Scoffers love to focus on as a tactic to erase (or rewrite) all of the horrible things Pike stood for and done in his life, let us move the arguments forward to expose the man. I guess Albert Pike wasn’t a Grand Dragon of the Klu Klux Klan, a slave holder and a traitor to his own country through his affiliations with the Confederacy, the KKK, Freemasonry and the Illuminati either, right?
Albert Pike: I first wrote about the Klu Klux Klan in an April 16, 1868 editorial in the Memphis Daily Appeal, indicating that how my main problems lay not with its aims, but with its methods and leadership. Later in this editorial, he proposed “one great Order of Southern Brotherhood”, a secret society which would have been a larger and more centrally organized version of the Klan: “If it were in our power, if it could be effected, we would unite every white man in the South, who is opposed to negro suffrage, into one great Order of Southern Brotherhood, with an organization complete, active, vigorous, in which a few should execute the concentrated will of all, and whose very existence should be concealed from all but its members.”[41][44][45]

Socrates: However, histories of the Ku Klux Klan published in the early 20th century, before the Klan’s 1915 rebirth, identify Pike as a high-ranking official of the order. In 1905’s Ku Klux Klan: Its Origin, Growth and Disbandment, the author Walter Lynwood Fleming, lists Pike as the Klan’s “chief judicial officer”.[48] Susan Lawrence Davis, whose father was a founding member of the Klan in Alabama,[49] writes in her sympathetic account titled Authentic History: Ku Klux Klan, 1865–1877, published in 1924, that Pike was personally chosen by Nathan Bedford Forrest to serve as the Klan’s “Chief Judicial Officer” and to head the Klan in Arkansas as “Grand Dragon of that Realm.”[50] In 1939’s Invisible Empire: The Story of the Ku Klux Klan, 1866–1871, Stanley Horn, who served as president of the Tennessee Historical Society, also reports that Forrest appointed Pike to lead the Klan in Arkansas and credits him with a surge of local Klan activity in April 1868. Horn says that a pro-Klan poem, “Death’s Brigade”, is attributed to Pike.[51] Southern Agrarian poet John Gould Fletcher, who grew up in Little Rock in a house that Pike built,[52] also believed Pike was the poem’s author.[10]
When the Ku Klux Klan was revived in 1915, there even existed an Albert Pike Klan, a local chapter of the organization based in Illinois.[53]

Publius: Needless to say, when I discovered this quote taken from the President Washington archives at the Library of Congress with a facimile of the original letter written in his own hand, I was shocked and very disappointed but, as the Bible says in Matthew 26:41—“The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Socrates: In this letter Washington (dated 1798, just one year removed from his second term or America’s first President) is not only endorsing the existence of the Illuminati (along with the money of the Rothschilds who fomented the genocide of the French Revolution [casualties = 300,000-400,000], Washington goes further to praise the Illuminati in the most lofty language as successfully infiltrating his own beloved Freemasons organization here in America. He even states how satisfied he is in discovering this news that the Illuminati is using his Freemasons as front organization to gain societal legitimacy and acceptance.
Socrates: Not just Albert Pike, but in modern times a growing number of people are now aware that the Freemasons were devoted to the Occult and openly Luciferian and was infiltrated by the Illuminati by the late 1700s according to the George Washington letter above. Thanks to John Birch Society former President, Art Thompson’s revelatory opus on real American history— To the Victor Goes the Myths and Monuments (2016) and several other historians like Dr. David Hebert’s 2009 Th.D. dissertation, The Need for Teaching the Eschatological Gospel of Both Coming of Jesus Christ in the 21st Century, (particularly Secs. 3.6.1. Therefore, in examining the culture, society and social conditions of the Weimar Republic up to and through World War I it brings to mind two aphorisms – John Adams declared, “There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation.
