Savage exposes Lysenkoism and Obamaism

The idea that acquired traits can become hereditary (Lysenkoism) is almost as ludicrous as the theory that man is causing global warming with industrial activity.

Lysenko: Stalin’s Little ‘Scientist’
Maurice Newman, Advisor to Australian PM Tony Abbott, writing in the Australian, was very blunt about the Global Warming-Climate Change cult which has dominated society and public policy for 40 years. Newman wrote that, “This [Climate Change] is not about facts or logic. It’s about a new world order under the control of the UN.” He further wrote that, “This is opposed to capitalism and freedom and has made environmental catastrophism a household topic to achieve its objective.”
The Newman passage above criticizing the Progressive cult of Climate Change was found in chapter 9: ‘Zero Science’ by radio legend Dr. Michael Savage and his essential book, Government Zero: No Borders, No Language, No Culture (Center Street, 2015), which cited a landmark 2015 study by Germany’s Max Planck Institute for Meteorology addressing what American climate scientists Pat Michaels and Chip Knappenberger called a “death blow” to global warming hysteria. Savage says, that “the study proves what any real scientist already knew: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) models that predict significant warming with increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide are wrong.”
In a subsection titled, “Lysenkoism: Then and Now”, Savage writes that “Science was hijacked by the government in the Soviet Union under Obama’s role model, Joseph Stalin. For more than three decades, the Soviet scientific community entered a dark age now known as Lysenkoism. It was a period when all scientific discovery and advancement halted and regressed, thanks to the political dominance over Soviet science by a man named Trofim Lysenko.”
Lysenko vs. C.S. Lewis
Remember Lysenkoism (e.g., pseudoscience to promote a socialist agenda) still exists today, particularly in America were the Democrat Socialist Party mandates a militant Evolution Atheist agenda which includes obeisance to the Cult of Climate Change. All ‘climate change deniers’ will be severely punished by the Socialist State by destroying their careers and by ignoring their writings exposing socialism slavery. The Obama administration is very expert in punishing Climate Change deniers.
Likewise Savage writes, “In the Soviet Union under Stalin, people were forbidden to believe that genes exist, just like people in Obama’s America are forbidden to believe that man-made climate change doesn’t exist.” “Marxists have to stamp out the truth or no one would tolerate their rule,” Savage writes. “That’s why Stalin needed a fake scientist to push Lysenkoism in the USSR and why Obama needs fake scientists to push global warming in the USSA.”
“So the perversion of science in the Soviet Union was a direct result of the economic failures of communism. The pattern might sound familiar. First, Stalin attacked the middle-class farmers. Calling them kulaks, he said they were exploiters. He accused them of robbing from the people by charging too much for the produce of the land…” “Once Stalin had successfully demonized the middle-class farmers, he stole their land and turned it into government-owned-and-operated farms,” Savage declares. “But the government can’t manage anything. It couldn’t do it in Russia and it can’t do it here.”
To believe otherwise is akin to magic which is exactly how the great English scholar and writer C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) equated government-funded science in his day (1930s-60s), to ‘magic’. In my 2013 essay titled, C.S. Lewis: When Science becomes Magic, Part 2, I wrote:
Conventional thinking by the progressive left treats science as something innovative, original and modern, however, for C.S. Lewis science was more closely related to ancient magic. Lewis characterized science and magic as analogous emphasizing 3 different ways that science and magic are similar – (1) Science/magic as the ability to function as religion demanding absolute obedience, devotion and worship; (2) Science/magic as credulity commands Groupthink and ironically promotes a lack of skepticism, and (3) Science/magic as power over the world in order to dominate society and triumph over nature and the universe.
‘Conventional thinking’ is a hallmark, a requirement of Socialism Slavery and is self-evident in the worldview of President Obama who said that “the balkanization of the media means that we just don’t have a commonplace where we get common facts and a common worldview the way we did 20, 30 years ago. Savages says, “that’s what Pravda was in the Soviet Union” and under Soviet Russia and Lysenkoism why genes did not exist.
Lysenkoism caused the Ukrainian Famines
Later Savage proposes an interest Socratic dialectical question: “Are you looking forward to Obamacare, which is Stalin-care in drag? You think government will give you better doctors, shorter wait times, or lower costs? The Russians did. That’s why thirty million Russians starved to death as a direct result of collective farming and other idiotic socialist ideas.”
In a 2010 WND.com essay titled, The Liberal-Fascist Axis, I wrote about the 7-10 millions of Ukrainian peasant farmers who starved to death as a direct result of Stalin’s communist-collectivist farming policies based on the pseudo-science to Lysenkoism, also known as the Holodomor:
The progressive movement has always been filled with socialist and liberal intellectuals who love to praise depraved tyrants like Mussolini, Lenin, Stalin and Hitler as men of action who, unlike the bureaucrats in our democracies, could get things done. Remember Stalin apologist Walter Duranty, a foreign correspondent for the New York Times who during the ghastly purges in the Ukraine in 1932-33, where over 30 million people were starved, Duranty heartlessly rationalized, “In order to make an omelet you have to break a few eggs.”
According to a Soviet author, “Before they died, people often lost their senses and ceased to be human beings.” Yet one of Stalin’s lieutenants in Ukraine stated in 1933 that the famine was a great success. This is the same insane type of tone deafness we regularly witness today from President Obama and the Democrat Socialist Party who have perfected the inverse correlation that the more catastrophic their socialists policies are in destroying society and the Judeo-Christian traditions and institutions bequeathed to U.S. by the constitutional Framers, the louder they proclaim they are a success and ascribe any failures to the lack of support from their political enemies (e.g., the Tea Party, the Republicans, Christians, and or course, Donald Trump).
Lysenko and the pseudoscience of Lamarckian Heredity
Savage continued his treatise relating Lysenkoism with another pseudoscience, Lamarckianism, writing that, “The idea that acquired traits can become hereditary is almost as ludicrous as the theory that man is causing global warming with industrial activity. One of Lamarck’s examples of an acquired trait was the long necks of giraffes. Lamarck theorized that giraffes living in areas where they needed to reach the leaves on high trees stretched their necks in attempting to reach them and somehow this stretching was passed on to their offspring.”
“Stalin also believed the combination of Mendel’s ideas with Charles Darwin’s theory of natural selection sounded too much like the competition inherent in capitalism,” wrote Savage. “How biological processes can possibly have any relevance to economics is hard to imagine, but Stalin wasn’t the only one who held this view in the Soviet Union back then.” For Stalin Lysenko’s ideas were essential to give public acceptance to his sophistic ideas by covering them with the veneer of scientific authority. Savage wrote that, “The faster results he promised to deliver in increasing agricultural production… Stalin needed quick results to combat the famine he caused with his disastrous socialist policies.”
“Do you see the connection between socialism and pseudoscience? The people were against farm collectivization, just like Americans today are against carbon taxes or open borders,” Savage declares. “This resistance, along with the inherent problems of socialism itself, combined to destroy agricultural productivity. Stalin needed a miracle from his scientists not only to make agriculture more productive, but to convince the people not to completely revolt against socialism.”
Stalin, admittedly not one of the world’s great scientists, nevertheless this tyrant was shrewd enough to link his perverted ideas of socialism slavery to science, even if in reality it was the pseudoscience of Lysenko. And Stalin was crazy enough to take these sophistic science ideas which in the Ukraine alone tragically caused 7-10 million peasant deaths from starvation.
Obamaism: The New Oligarchy
In conclusion, President Barack Obama has taken Stalin’s fascist mantle and has zealously sought to fulfill his promise he made October 2008, on the eve of his first term as president— “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States. What Obama meant by “fundamentally transforming” was to infuse Socialism Slavery into every institution in America while concurrently deconstructing America’s Judeo-Christian institutions and traditions as Saul Alinksky and Obama’s Columbian Professors Cloward and Piven extolled in their vile writings. As writer David Joravsky declared that Stalin and the communists always believe their own insanity—
“But Stalinist bosses saw themselves as popular leaders in the creation of an abundant new society; after a few disappointments with agricultural science, they angrily switched their support to pseudoscience. They needed to believe the line they were handling out, that collectivization was creating the most advanced farming system in the world.”
English scholar and Christian apologist, C.S. Lewis wrote that ‘scientism’ was the political corruption of science. “Science ceased being a search for truth and became a search to validate Stalin’s policies,” writes Savage “just as climate science is no longer a search for truth, but a search to validate cap-and-trade and more regulation on businesses.” Both C.S. Lewis and Savage realized the Machiavellian intent of Socialists like Stalin and Obama, and that the best way to get the masses to believe their communist lies is to tie them to some contrived pseudoscience like Lysenkoism, Marxism or Darwin’s Evolution Atheism. By achieving this treachery, you now have the best of both worlds in that everyone wants to affirm the highest minds in society we call scientists, while those who insist on standing up for ‘truth’ will be ridiculed and ostracized as ‘Idealists’ or ‘Haters’ by the Socialist State.
“Lysenkoism eventually came to an end in the Soviet Union and Lysenko was stripped of all of his power, and real scientists who had always rejected his crackpot theories stopped being persecuted,” Savage writes.
“We have the same challenge in America today that those peasant farmers faced in Russia. We have a government that is perverting science and medicine to advance its political agenda. Pseudoscience as absurd as Lysenko’s is officially recognized by the state, while real scientists are silenced or ostracized.” And concluded with this ominous warning to the wise— “Just as in the Soviet Union fifty years ago, we have so-called journalists on the far left who continue to support these obtuse theories that have no validity whatsoever, and they smear anyone who dissents.”
“The new oligarchy must increasingly rely on the advice of scientists until in the end the politicians become merely the scientists’ puppets,” wrote C. S. Lewis, in his famous 1958 essay—Willing Slaves of the Welfare State. The only way to fight and defeat liberal fascism and Holocaust Democrats is for real men to stand up for Veritas (truth) and relentless fight against Socialism slavery in all of its evil guises. Only then will the existential lies of the left be exposed and like dominoes, one-by-one they will topple down, and We the People can once again rebuild the destroyed foundations of the U.S. Constitution founded under Natural Law, Natural Rights and the inseparability of legality and morality.
