I repeatedly refused to take the “Satan OATH” which is why I’ve been blacklisted for 30+ years—for my entire legal and academic career, yet I Fight on! Afghanistan, where nations go to die.
~ Historical proverb
They’ve been created by the CIA or by some fictitious [‘War on Terror’] narrative called the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, ISIS; it’s just ridiculous narratives.
~ Dr. Steve Pieczenik
“He [Osama bin Laden] died of Marfan syndrome, Bush junior knew about it, the intelligence community knew about it,” said Pieczenik, noting how CIA physicians had visited Bin Laden in July 2001 at the American Hospital in Dubai. “He was already very sick from Marfan syndrome and he was already dying, so nobody had to kill him,” added Pieczenik, stating that Bin Laden died shortly after 9/11 in his Tora Bora cave complex.
~ Dr. Steve Pieczenik, May 2011 Interview by InfoWars’ P.J. Watson
*N.B.: This essay is a partial transcript and Part 2 of an interview by InfoWars host, David Knight of Dr. Steve Pieczenik on Aug. 23, 2017. Part 1 was of an interview InfoWars founder and host, Alex Jones did of former CIA Psychiatrist, Dr. Steve Pieczenik on Aug. 22nd cited in my essay, Trump in Afghanistan, Part 1. Since Shakespeare famously said, “Brevity is the soul of wit”, I edited down the original interview to remove extraneous, irrelevant, and duplicative materials and added an Epilogue at the end to establish a strong historical and geopolitical context.
Analysis of Afghanistan War by Dr. Steve Pieczenik
DAVID KNIGHT: “Joining us in this segment is Dr. Steve Pieczenik… He’s a psychiatrist, a former State Department official, politically acclaimed author of the thrillers by Tom Clancy, Tom Clancy’s Op-Center and Tom Clancy’s Net Force paperback series. He was co-creator those. He’s been trained in psychiatry at Harvard University, in International Relations at MIT, his novels are based on over 20 years of experience resolving international crises and hostage situations for the State Department for four administrations. You can find him at StevePieczenik.com on Twitter @StevePieczenik.
I want to know what it means to win in Afghanistan? How do we define that? We’ve never won a war of counterinsurgency; no empire has won that. Our country was born out of defeating people who were trying to occupy us in this country, so I just don’t see that happening especially in Afghanistan”.
PIECZENIK: “You’re absolutely correct, David. Number one, let’s go back to Laura Ingraham’s Tweet which was correct and I should mention this—We had 100,000 American troops in Afghanistan 2011, on top of that we had 10,000 British troops… on top of that we had 30,000 NATO troops. Let’s say about 140,000-150,000 troops in 2011 and we did not make a dent into anything, let alone about insurgents because we [didn’t] know who the insurgents are. They’ve been created by the CIA or by some fictitious narrative called the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, ISIS; it’s just ridiculous narratives.
The problem here is that there is no military solution, there is no victory, there is no ability to wipe out the enemy and we’re gonna kill them and more importantly, we should leave it. It’s 16 years, $6 trillion dollars. What they haven’t talked about are the 30% increase in PTSD and in suicides by our military heroes. Now that’s very for our generals—Mattis, McMaster, [Vault, Bodil?] and all of them who get their pens and stripes during peacetime and then go to the [D.C.] Beltway to make their money because they have no other way to make [their] money unlike your show Alex Jones, you David, all the young people there, where they go out, they hustle, they try risk, we don’t have that kind of generals. What we have are peacetime generals who are really the maidens, or as would say the whores of the Military-Industrial Complex; that cannot continue.”
And the reason I was livid was simply because (I wasn’t angry at the generals or as much as a Trump), I was angry at myself because… I wanted a military presence in the office and around Trump because he had a very erratic behavior (and I’m not going into any kind of diagnosis) and the reason for those generals wasn’t because they were brilliant generals or they were great strategists; none of them are, but they were there for Command-and-Control, in fact [General] John Kelly (whom I do not know and I do respect), was head South[ern] Comm[and]. I had worked at South[ern] Comm[and] before so I knew the complexities were involved in running a civilian military organization and he in fact did clean out most of that White House—Gorka has to leave, Kellyanne Conway has to leave, Jared Kushner has to leave, Ivanka has to leave…
I was speaking as a supporter of Trump and someone who went against 9/11 nonsensical narrative that we were attacked by some people in Afghanistan and Iraq which was nonsense. So, Trump was only supposed to do three things—
- Stop the wars, as he said, all over the world that was costing U.S. trillions;
- Decrease our taxes;
- Increase our budget for infrastructure;
None of three were done… He got involved in Obamacare and he didn’t know what he was doing, the Republicans didn’t know what they were doing, the military didn’t know what they were doing, the McConnells’ didn’t know what he was doing. Then we get involved in the wars that we know nothing about as generals, building more soldiers that they created the problem in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan. So, we’ve expanded the scenario of wars and now we’re completely in on 180 degrees away from Trump[‘s original campaign promises]. And what I said is Trump cannot continue and he will not continue, but I will make another prediction—Pence will not come in [the constitutional line of succession] as the vice president.”
KNIGHT: “What do you think is going to happen if you feel that Trump is going to be removed, or you think he is going to be impeached?”
PIECZENIK: “I’m not going to make that prediction. I believe that Trump, without his family, without holding on to Jared Kushner, this Orthodox [Jew] that has no experience whatsoever, whose father had to pay $2.5 million to get him into Harvard after he failed in what we call ‘Hater Orthodoxy’. ‘And a big loan from George Soros as well’ said Knight…. This was a total no-vision who is not very bright even when he was given everything—an entitled, spoiled brat, (along with his daughter), and he’s in charge of the Middle East policy and he goes around to Afghanistan when our boys are dying at a rate that’s unbelievable.
Plus, I have to deal with men, with young Christian men coming back to North Central Florida who have been sent to Somalia, Sudan, in Djibouti, they do not speak the language, they do not know why they’re there, their own generals… colonels and commanders for saying, ‘What are we doing here, in Somalia, in Sudan’? So once again we have this military industrial complex, Trump has no idea what’s going on. I’ve got problems in Afghanistan, with Pakistan, I’ve got problems with Pakistan and India, I’ve got problems with India and China, then I’ve got problems with China and North Korea—Where’s the solution?”
Suicide Pact = the ‘Rules of Engagement’
KNIGHT: “And of course, they expanded the problem by including Pakistan so everybody’s asking, are we going to have an escalation of tensions and spread the war out into Pakistan?
As you pointed out adding four thousand troops isn’t going to do anything as you pointed out the massive presence that we had before… we’ll I’m glad Trump changed the rules of engagement. This big picture is that we didn’t worry about rules of engagement when we were fighting the Nazis, right? We were trying to defeat them, we had a clear goal. It was a war, it was not an occupation; we were not there as a colonial power.”
PIECZENIK: “Well basically the rules of engagement are one smaller element, the real problem is … killing people or an occupying power is not a strategy. And it never has been a strategy since World War II… [then] the strategy that was developed by George C. Marshall against FDR’s opinion was to simply say we have to build up our army from 10,000 to 10,000,000 in 2-3 years which was formidable. The Soviet army took over most of our battle on the Western Front and we fought in the battle on the Pacific Ocean so that we could relieve over 150,000 Soviet soldiers to approach again the Western Front that was a strategy.
The rules of engagement even in World War II was very simple—you kill or arrest the Nazis. We had taken an immense amount of prisoners of war, but the Soviets came in in 1940 and 41 and we couldn’t come in until 1944 and 45; that was the basic strategy. Here, there is no strategy. 9/11 was an inside job. There was no requirement to go to Iraq. There was no requirement to go to Afghanistan, so why do I berate the generals? Because they are conspiratorial. This is collusive. They should have known better to eventually stand up and say no…no more wars we’re pulling back and they should have had the guts… or the position to say no we’re not going to fight a war that makes no sense and all we’re providing is cannon fodder; both 8,000 young brave men and women will be cannon fodder.
When you go to the hospitals and you see how many people have been injured and damaged you… let Trump send Jared to the fronts lines so that he can understand what a bullet means going through his shoulder or his legs and let him have the opportunity that he’s afforded to everybody else to blow up and have post-traumatic stress syndrome after an IED blows up”.
Trump son-in-law/adviser, Jared Kushner with flak jacket (the word clouds are a joke)
KNIGHT: “I’m reminded of Kushner at war and he’s up in this preppy suit… and people were trolling him relentlessly and they’re calling it ‘Band of Brooks Brothers’… but you could see the resentment on the faces of the troops in the background like ‘Who is this guy’? ‘Why is he here’? And I think they are asking the same questions about themselves—Why are we here? And the American people I think are asking that same question after 16 years”?
PIECZENIK: “It was terrible… you see each one of these generals are really what I call the Prima Donna that eventually want to get their books and their movies done… contrary to ‘Mad Dog’… he’s not that intellectually strong. I’ve had to read his articles, but he’s always had two co-writers with him because he’s not very literate when it comes to writing an article or his presentation. He goes to the Hoover Institute, then he sits on the boards and he makes $10-20 million, although he corrected his Wikipedia to put $5 million”.
I have never seen anything in his history that shows he has the capacity to create strategy, to begin a war, to implement a war or to finish a war in the same way that Marshall did. George Marshall, who never wrote anything about himself and what does ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis do? He runs to the TV show so that there can be a show about him, then he creates the persona that he’s Marcus Aurelius. Marcus Aurelius was brilliant general, was a brilliant thinker. Mattis is an idiot, he’s a terrible general and has no idea what he is talking about. When he was a major, he was recruiting Marines in Oregon—come on, give me a break. All of these generals were peacetime generals… It’s a massive bureaucracy”.
KNIGHT: “I want to go back to one thing you said earlier—The real ISIS was created by the CIA. We need to remember that, we can’t say that enough. ISIS and Al-Qaeda were creations of the CIA. What are we doing there fighting them?”
PIECZENIK: “Because the military industrial complex of which he [General Mattis] is a part of, [former Director of National Intelligence, Jim] Clapper who claims that Trump is not fit, he’s a total whore of the system. Clapper had conflicts of interest up and down the line while he was DNI [Director of National Intelligence] and he was a man who had to make money…”
Epilogue: ‘The Opposite Paradigm’
You will never understand historical and political events in modern times, especially since the advent of fascist, secret ‘intelligence agencies’ like the FBI, NSA and CIA, unless you look askance at everything they tell you is true and interpret historical and political events under what I characterize as the Opposite Paradigm—To find the ultimate truth of a given public event, interpret everything the Left or Deep State apparatchiks tell you is the opposite of the ultimate truth.
Exhibit One: President George W. Bush, all of his National Security heads have told U.S. for 17 years that 9/11 was planned and plotted by one man, Osama bin Laden and his terrorist group called “Al-Qaeda” who flew 4 planes into the Twin Towers in New York, the Pentagon and in a field just outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania killing almost 3,000 people and causing over $10 billion in property damage. That’s the government propaganda given U.S., which is 100% lies. The U.S. government then used that Big Lie as a False Flag pretext to gain American support to invade Iraq and Afghanistan, “to punish the terrorists”. Yet, if 9/11 was based on False Flag lies and disinformation by the highest levels in the U.S. government, then why are we still fighting a “War in Afghanistan” 16 years later? Because the Deep State and the CIA-created Democrat Party media has a vested interest in lying to the American people about what constitutes Truth and Reality.
Is it true that Osama bin Laden didn’t die on May 2, 2011 during that famous pre-2012 election disinformation con job the primary purpose of which was a Deep State Psychological Operation (‘Psy-Op’) expressly designed to rewrite history in order to save the traitorous, failed, fraudulent Barack Obama from being a one-term, loser president? Yes. You remember the picture below of May 1-2, 2011 where Obama, Hillary and other lying apparatchiks of his “Defense Cabinet” are all huddled inside the “Situation Room” supposedly intensely watching in real time an on-camera attack by elite contingent of Navy Seals on Osama bin Laden’s hideout in Pakistan that led to his ultimate death? That’s government propaganda worthy of Soviet-era Pravda lies. In reality, Dr. Pieczenik and many other experts had already known that Osama bin Laden died of natural causes shortly after 9/11, but the fascist government kept that information from U.S. to reveal his fake death as useful pro-government propaganda at a later date—that date being May 1-2, 2011 on the eve of Obama’s second term; a ‘May Surprise’ if you will that fooled U.S. all and won Obama a second term in office.
PROPAGANDA ALERT! Obama’s ‘May Surprise’ securing his second term: The killing of Osama bin Laden at his hideout in Pakistan (May 1-2, 2011)
Quoting from Watson’s May 2011 interview of Pieczenik:
“Did the intelligence community or the CIA doctor up this situation, the answer is yes, categorically yes,” said Pieczenik, referring to Sunday’s [May 1, 2011] claim that Bin Laden was killed at his compound in Pakistan, adding, “This whole scenario where you see a bunch of people sitting there looking at a screen and they look as if they’re intense, that’s nonsense,” referring to the images released by the White House which claim to show Biden, Obama, and Hillary Clinton watching the operation to kill Bin Laden live on a television screen.
Pieczenik continued, “He died of Marfan syndrome [a degenerative genetic disease for which there is no permanent cure. The illness severely shortens the life span of the sufferer], Bush junior knew about it, the intelligence community knew about it,” said Pieczenik, noting how CIA physicians had visited Bin Laden in July 2001 at the American Hospital in Dubai. “He was already very sick from Marfan syndrome and he was already dying, so nobody had to kill him,” added Pieczenik, stating that Bin Laden died shortly after 9/11 in his Tora Bora cave complex [10 years before his government-created fake death, May 2, 2011].
CIA Propaganda 101—The ‘Big Lie’
Historically speaking, you can easily blame anything on a dead man. Why? Because as the saying goes (as in the popular Pirates’ Movie), “Dead men tell no tales.” This makes logical sense and explains why President Obama could never show U.S. bin Laden’s body… there wasn’t one; just some useful idiot patsy who looked like bin Laden viewed by millions on the TV screen. Obama could never allowed public view of bin Laden’s body after his “death” on May 1-2, 2011 and thus explains why within 24 hours bin Laden’s ‘body’ was quickly buried at sea. This CIA-Obama Big Lie was perpetrated against U.S. to complete the shameful government cover-up and thus keep alive the False Flag pretext of how the CIA yet again lied to the American people to get us entangled in another unwinnable war Afghanistan, “where nations go to die”—Afghanistan, a God-forsaken hellhole that would in essence become our Vietnam in modern times done for no other ultimate reason than to fund the billionaire war profiteers and Democrat Party allies and what President Dwight D. Eisenhower derisively called this uncontrollable Leviathan monster in his famous 1961 farewell address, the “Military Industrial Complex.”
The fake Afghanistan War—where a traitorous, failed Marxist apparatchik like Obama (and almost Hillary) could secure his ‘legacy’ (and provide government contracts to his billionaire war profiteer funders [the ‘moneyed classes’]) by stealing his second term based on the bin Laden/Afghanistan War Big Lie… And We the People were stupid enough to believe the Big Lie… even to this day which gives the prescient words George Orwell wrote over 70 years ago even greater affirmation—
“In our age, there is no such thing as ‘keeping out of politics.’ All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.”
Orwell also wrote that,
“War against a foreign country only happens when the moneyed classes think
they are going to profit from it.”
